REFRESH: DAY 4

What does it look like when ordinary people carry something extraordinary? They were not scholars. They were not trained religious leaders. Yet something about them was undeniable. That something was the Holy Spirit. We walk through the unfolding story of Acts chapters 1 through 4, tracing the journey from Jesus' promise of power to the explosive outpouring on the day of Pentecost, all the way to a lame man receiving healing at the temple gate. Along the way, we discover that the Holy Spirit is not a theological concept reserved for the early church. It is a living, active gift available to every believer today. The same Spirit that transformed a foot-in-mouth fisherman into a preacher who birthed the church in a single day is the same Spirit being poured out now. The central question this message leaves us with is not whether the Holy Spirit is real, but whether we are truly open to receiving everything that comes with Him.
