GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT: PART 3

This powerful message invites us into a transformative exploration of supernatural faith and the ongoing reality of divine healing in our lives today. At its core, we're challenged to recognize that the same Jesus who walked the earth two thousand years ago—healing the sick, raising the dead, and performing miracles—remains unchanged. Hebrews 13:8 anchors this truth: Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. We're reminded that the gifts of the Spirit, particularly the gift of faith, gifts of healing, and working of miracles, haven't passed away with the early apostles. They remain available and essential for us in navigating today's challenges. The message confronts our tendency to allow fear, doubt, and unbelief to tie God's hands in our lives. Through compelling testimonies—including a premature baby healed from a life-threatening intestinal disease, a couple blessed with a child after ten years of waiting, and a man raised from the brink of death—we witness how supernatural faith operates beyond human reasoning. The story of the lame man at the Gate Beautiful in Acts 3 beautifully illustrates how Peter and John, operating in the gift of faith, brought complete restoration to someone who had never walked. What's particularly striking is the distinction between different types of faith: natural faith that allows us to sit in a chair without fear, saving faith that brings us to Christ, and supernatural faith—a direct impartation from God that enables us to believe for the impossible. We're encouraged to understand that healing comes in various forms: instant, gradual, emotional, spiritual, and physical. Sometimes healing manifests immediately; other times it unfolds as we continue walking in faith. The challenge before us is clear: What is keeping us from receiving the healing and miracles we need? God's desire isn't just to heal us when we're sick, but for us to walk in divine health—spirit, soul, and body prospering together.
