FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT: PART 7

What does it truly mean to be faithful? Not just in our relationships, but in our walk with God? This message digs into the heart of faithfulness as a fruit of the Spirit, reminding us that our ability to be faithful is rooted in something far greater than our own willpower. It is rooted in the faithfulness of God himself. From his promises to Abraham, to his protection of Moses and the Israelites, to the ultimate act of faithfulness in sending his Son, the entire biblical narrative is a testimony to a God who never abandons his commitments. John 15 serves as our anchor, where Jesus calls us to remain connected to him as branches to a vine. Just as a grafted fruit tree produces fruit faster because it draws from an already-established root system, we too are empowered to grow in faithfulness when we stay connected to Christ and to one another. Cross-pollination in the natural world teaches us that fruit grows more abundantly in community, and the same is true for us spiritually. We are not meant to walk this journey alone. The wisdom of those who have walked faithfully for decades has immeasurable value for those of us still finding our footing, and that exchange is exactly what discipleship looks like in practice.
